How to assign a task or a decision to an external user ?

With Sherpany, you can assign tasks or decisions to people outside Sherpany by simply using their email address.

Steps to assign a task or decision to an external user

  1. Open the meeting where you want to assign the task or decision.

  2. In the Meeting Minutes section, locate the relevant agenda item and open it.

  3. Select "Add decision" and/or "Add task".

  4. In the Assignee field, you can either type the external user’s email address, select them from the dropdown list, or click “Assign to external person by email” to confirm.

  5. Once assigned, publish the Meeting Minutes and select "notify people via email" to send a notification to the external user.

Please note  

External users do not receive an automatic notification when a task or decision is assigned to them.
