What is the Easy Edit feature?
With Easy Edit, effortlessly edit documents directly within Sherpany, eliminating the need to download and re-upload MS Office files. This feature simplifies the editing process while ensuring your data remains secure.
It supports various document formats and automatically generates updated PDFs for seamless use.
Why using this feature?
Thanks to the Easy Edit feature, you can:
- Edit documents without having to download them: Efficiently make edits directly within Sherpany without downloading files, streamlining workflows and so, saving time.
- Work and collaborate in real-time: Empower your team to work together more effectively: Allows multiple users to collaborate on documents simultaneously, ensuring everyone is on the same page and up-to-date with the latest changes.
- Enjoy effortless compatibility with various document formats and platforms: Editing of files is allowed for various MS Office formats such as .doc/x, .ppt/x, .xlxs/.xls.
Also note that:
- All documents remain on Sherpany servers: Ensure data security and confidentiality by storing all documents securely on Sherpany servers, protecting against unauthorized access or loss.
- Familiar UI: Enjoy a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate, minimizing the learning curve and maximizing productivity for all users.
How to use this feature?
- In Sherpany Meeting Creation: Please select the "Edit Document" option from the 3-dot menu of the respective document. Note that only documents uploaded in one of the following formats can be opened: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Editing Document: The document will be opened in edit mode. Add the necessary changes to the document.
- Save Changes: To make the changes visible in the meeting document PDF, you must save them using the floppy disk symbol at the top left.
- Review Results: Exit edit mode using the X symbol at the top right. You can now open the document using the standard procedures. Your changes have now been embedded in the PDF.
Who can user the Easy Edit feature?
The editing feature is included in the "Extension for Digital Champions Bundle."
