What is a Guest Licence?
The Guests are external users that can be invited to some specific meetings or agenda items/documents. Once logged in, the access to Sherpany is permanent, but they can access only those items they have been invited to. They can also access Topic Hub and submit as many topics as they want, but can’t access the library, create or edit meetings.
The Guests can be added only by a meeting organiser and can attend as many meetings as necessary.
There are two ways to invite them:
- You can invite any users within your organisation who already have a Sherpany account or
- Invite any person as a Guest with a dedicated Guest licence : it can be any person, regardless of whether they have a Sherpany account or not. You can invite this person by sending an invitation email from the three-dot menu in your Meeting Details Tab, or when creating an agenda.
How can these users follow the onboarding?
Users with Guest licences follow a similar onboarding process as those with regular Sherpany licences. They receive an email invitation to log in and are guided through self-onboarding.
How is the pricing working?
Guest Licenses come at a much lower price than regular Sherpany licenses and don’t incur recurring costs if the guest isn’t invited to any meetings during a quarter.
What about security?
People with a Guest Licences will get a Sherpany account. They will need to onboard like regular users and so, also set up two-factor authentication.
