What is the Translation Copilot and how does it work?

What is the Translation Copilot feature ?

This feature allows you to translate the entire content of the meeting agenda and minutes into one of Sherpany’s supported languages (English, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Swedish) in a single step.

The translated version will maintain all the original structure and formatting to ensure clarity, consistency, and confidentiality.

Why should we use it ?

Meeting participants often work in multilingual environments, where the agenda and minutes are drafted in a language they might not fully understand. This creates a barrier to fully engaging with decisions, follow-ups, and discussions — especially in organisations where English is the working language, but other users operate in other languages. 

Without access to a translated version, these participants are often excluded from key post-meeting insights, slowing down alignment and decision-making.

How does it work ?

The Translation Copilot enables participants to instantly access a translated, read-only version of the agenda and minutes, directly within Sherpany. This ensures clarity, inclusion, and transparency while maintaining the security and confidentiality required at the executive level. 

In the view mode of the meeting, you can select a language from the six supported languages.

Privacy and data

• The translated version is visually distinct, clearly marked as AI-generated, and does not overwrite the original content. 
• Translations are handled entirely within Sherpany’s on-premise LLM setup, ensuring full data privacy.
