Log in securely
When opening the Sherpany app for the first time, you will be asked to sign in with your Sherpany account.
- Enter your email address and password
- Confirm your login using the security code sent to your mobile phone
- Create a 6-digit passcode to unlock the app on your device
After logging in, the Sherpany home screen will open.
Navigate the home screen and your rooms
The home screen gives you access to the main areas of the Sherpany app.
- Your rooms, where meetings and documents are organised
- The search function, allowing you to find meetings, agenda items or documents
- The library, where shared corporate documents are stored
- Your profile and settings
From the home screen, you can also update your rooms to make sure you have the latest meetings, documents and personal annotations available on your device.
Access documents in the library
The corporate library contains company-related documents such as reports, policies or reference materials. Depending on how your organisation uses Sherpany, documents may be organised using filters or labels.
- Filters help narrow down document lists
- Labels help categorise documents for easier navigation
Labels are created and managed by the administrators of each room.
Read meeting materials using the agenda
When opening a meeting, the agenda provides an overview of the topics and documents prepared for the meeting. Agenda items may contain additional documents or supporting material.
- Agenda items represent discussion topics
- Documents provide the supporting material for each topic
Selecting a document opens it so you can review the meeting materials directly within the app.
Collaborate using comments
Participants can use the comment function to discuss meeting materials before the meeting takes place. This allows teams to collaborate asynchronously and focus meeting time on the most relevant discussion points.
- Open the comments panel while viewing a document
- Add a new comment
- Use @mentions to notify colleagues
- Edit or delete your comment if needed
Comments can be public or private.
Warning
Public comments are visible to all meeting participants who have access to the related agenda item or document.
Improve security with two-factor authentication
To increase the security of your Sherpany account, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA). This option can be activated in the Security settings of the Sherpany app. Follow the instructions displayed in the app to complete the setup.
Tip
Two-factor authentication improves account security and can simplify the login process once the device is registered.
